Guaranteed to make you smile in September

Sharing is human nature. We have a strong desire to tell stories and share experiences with each other, developing friendships, support networks and professional communities through our home life and careers. APMG-International sponsors a global programme of events that bring like minded professionals together; to network, listen and learn from each other. It is at the heart of what we believe in – that great work should be recognised, and leading practice should be accessible to all.

September and October are two months where this belief takes shape with APMG-International Showcase events being held in Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia. I’ve chosen a few personal highlights for this month to give you a taste of what is to come.

Each event has a distinct focus, chosen locally to reflect what clients are talking about. Selected topics from the Best Management Practice Portfolio, Service Management, Change Management and Consulting Portfolios are presented in Keynote, Seminar and Round-Table discussion. What is common? The broad smiles that appear throughout the day as participants share, learn and network together.

In Dubai (9th September) you can hear proven strategies in adopting best practices across organizations, and how social learning is transforming communities of practice in PRINCE2® across the world. With numbers strictly limited to 200, it is advisable to book your place, just follow the link.

The weekend of 14th September, India (Bangalore) will focus on how DSDM Agile integrates with PRINCE2®, bringing these two approaches together in a meaningful way. With significant interest in outsourcing, Sourcing Governance and case studies in Service Management feature strongly on the agenda of what promises to be another signature event.

Building our Future in Changing Times is the chosen theme for Australia (14th September, Brisbane) with Stephen Jenner demonstrating how to realise benefits from projects – critical in a challenging economy. Organizations are changing fast and leading practice on change management is central to the 2012 agenda. Opportunities to network and meet with a wide range of providers of foundation, intermediate and advanced qualifications is set to transform careers.  Information on how to become an APMG-International Registered Consultant and gain wider access to project opportunities will be available.

China (27 September, Beijing) has the chosen theme: Seizing the core of project management, achieving the greatest value. Here, the value of the Project Management Office in complex projects and surviving in times of high risk are explored. You will have the opportunity to learn about the next generation of Project and Service Management qualifications which are already making a major difference to professionals, their careers and organizations.

We look forward to meeting you, hearing your contribution and guarantee you will be smiling with us!
